Industry Training Organizations (ITOs) are the mechanism by which the ITA is giving industry lead responsibility for improving industry training in a specific sector. They are not-for-profit legal entities with responsibility for designated industry training programs. ITOs are established by industry, and are accountable to and co-funded by the ITA.

The Automotive Training Standards Organization (ATSO) is sanctioned by the ITA under the Industry Training Authority Act as the Industry Training Organization (ITO) for the automotive industry in British Columbia. The organization will support the BC automotive industry with training and credentialing that effectively matches the supply of appropriately skilled workers with industry needs.

Construction Industry Training Organization (CITO) – CITO is mandated by the ITA as the ITO for the industrial/commercial/institutional construction sector.
PROPEL™ – A division of go2 Tourism HR Society, PROPEL is sanctioned by the ITA as the ITO for the tourism and hospitality industry in British Columbia. Its mandate is to provide an effective industry-driven training coordinating function by defining industry training needs, setting industry training and occupational standards, measuring industry training results, and directly interfacing with public, private and K-12 training providers.
