BYLAW DESCRIPTION
BC Training Programs Bylaw This bylaw contains ITA's definition and list of non-Red Seal programs (including both current and deactivated programs).
Designated Training Providers Bylaw This bylaw contains ITA's definition and list of training providers that are approved to deliver ITA programs. (See also: List of ITA-approved Training Providers)
Foundation Programs Bylaw This bylaw contains ITA's definition and list of the pre-apprenticeship foundation programs designed to prepare students for apprenticeship training.
Red Seal Programs Bylaw This bylaw contains ITA's definition and list of Red Seal programs.

POLICY DESCRIPTION
Appeals/Dispute Resolution Policy This policy describes how to dispute an ITA decision and request reconsideration by the CEO. It also describes how to file a formal appeal to the Industry Training Authority Appeal Board. 
Apprentice/Trainee and Sponsor Registration Policy This policy outlines the standards and responsibilities for registered Apprentices, Sponsors, and Trainees. (See also: Apprentice and Sponsor Registration Form)
Certificate Replacement Policy This policy sets out the requirements for replacing certificates and wallet cards.
Changes to Existing Programs Policy This policy outlines the criteria for evaluating industry proposals to modify existing programs.
Credential Cancellation Policy This policy outlines the grounds for canceling an Industry Training Credential.
Credit for Prior Experience & Training Policy This policy sets out how ITA credits apprentices for prior related practical work experience and technical training.
Exam Administration Policy - Certification Exams This policy provides information about certification exam eligibility, pass marks, upgrading and rewrites, field testing, and accommodations for special needs. (See related forms here)
Exam Administration Policy - Standardized Written Level Exams This policy describes how Standardized Written Level Exams are administered, invigilated, and marked.
Exam Invigilator Policy This policy contains the process to qualify to invigilate ITA exams.
Intellectual Property Policy This policy sets out the framework for protecting ITA’s intellectual property rights and guiding ITA's use of Third Party intellectual property.
ITA Logo Policy This policy contains the rules governing the use of ITA’s logo.
New Programs Policy This policy provides information for organizations interested in developing new training programs.
Program Deactivation Policy This policy outlines the criteria for when ITA may deactivate a program (this policy does not apply to Red Seal programs).
Program Funding and Maintenance Policy This policy sets out the criteria for approving program development costs.
Registered Assessors Policy This policy outlines the eligibility criteria and process for registering as an ITA assessor and how to maintain active status.
Service Fees Policy This policy describes the purpose of fees and requirements for payment to ITA.
Sponsorship and Endorsement Policy This policy relates to ITA's sponsorship/endorsement of third-party activities or for partnering with third parties in the delivery of programs or events.
Systems Access and Information Sharing Policy This policy sets out the terms and conditions for authorizing external access to ITA systems and information, including the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
Training Provider Designation Policy This policy outlines the criteria for approving training providers other than public post-secondary institutions.
